LapinChat is operated by Turpark Vale Hizmetleri Ltd.şti under the Turpark brand. In this policy, “LapinChat,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that operator.

We may collect account and profile details such as your name, username, date of birth or age confirmation, gender, profile photos, preferences, email address, phone number, and authentication information.

We process content and communications you choose to provide, including messages, profile content, room activity, reports, and support requests. Live audio and video are processed to provide calls and rooms. We will disclose in the app if a feature records or stores media.

We may collect device, log, and usage information such as IP address, device type, operating system, app version, language, time zone, crash data, interaction data, and identifiers needed for security, fraud prevention, and service operation. If you grant permission, features may use camera, microphone, notifications, contacts, or approximate/precise location as described at the permission prompt.

We use information to create and secure accounts; show profiles and recommendations; provide messages, rooms, and calls; personalize settings; provide support; enforce our rules; investigate reports; detect fraud, abuse, and illegal activity; improve reliability; comply with law; and communicate important service updates.

Where applicable, our legal bases include performing our contract with you, consent, compliance with legal duties, and legitimate interests such as safety, service improvement, and fraud prevention.

Information may be visible to other users according to your profile, room, and privacy settings. We may share information with vendors that support hosting, communications, analytics, moderation, security, customer support, and other service operations under appropriate obligations.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect a person’s safety, investigate abuse, enforce our terms, or complete a corporate transaction. We do not sell personal information for money. If our practices amount to “sharing” or targeted advertising under applicable law, we will provide the controls required by that law.

To protect users and the public, we may use automated systems and human review to detect, review, and act on suspected violations. Reports may include relevant account information and content. We may preserve evidence when needed to investigate serious abuse, child sexual exploitation, threats, fraud, or legal claims.

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here. Retention varies by data type, account status, safety needs, disputes, contractual obligations, and law.

When an account is deleted, we remove or de-identify information as appropriate, subject to limited retention for legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backups, and enforcing our agreements. Content shared with others may remain in their accounts or records.

You may update certain information and permissions in the app or device settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your information, or withdraw consent. We may verify your identity before completing a request.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no service can guarantee absolute security. Information may be processed in countries other than your own, with safeguards used where required.

LapinChat is intended only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly permit children to create accounts. Report suspected underage use or child exploitation immediately to support@lapinchat.com.

We may update this policy as the service and legal requirements change. We will post the revised version here, update the date above, and provide additional notice when required.
